Flat metal heaters with a micanite insulator are a device operating on the basis of a heating element in the form of a resistive wire. The design consists of layers of mica paper with a heater wound around it (the heater power depends on the thickness and frequency of winding the wire). The protective case from stainless steel will provide uniform on all surface of TENa. Flat heaters have one heating side.a

Flat ceramic heaters are made to order and have individual dimensions. The design of a ceramic heater consists of the following elements: a heating resistor wire, ceramic insulator blocks, a protective metal casing, an electrical outlet.
Maximum operating temperature of the heater: 500°C.
Maximum electrical power: 6 W/cm².

Flat heaters are unique in that they can completely repeat the shape of the heated object. They are used in industrial heating for casting molds, molds, adhesive plants and pipes. It is possible to manufacture in U– and L-shaped form. An element that converts electrical energy into heat is a resistive wire. Insulation: micanite or ceramic.
Flat heating elements can have one of three types of sheath: stainless metal, mica or cast aluminum. The heating method is contact. Depending on the equipment, the maximum temperature supply is 350 °C – 500 °C. The heated surface heats up quickly and evenly. The flat heating element is fixed using a pressure plate or directly through the heater hole. It is possible to install temperature sensors and external heater controllers. With proper operation, the service life is more than 8000 hours.

A flat metal heater can rightly be called one of the most common types of heating devices. The heater is unique in its diversity and the ability to repeat the required shape. Metal flat heaters are made with a micanite or ceramic insulator. The heating element is Rescal wire.

Structurally, a flat heater consists of several layers: sheet metal, 0.25-0.5 mm thick, insulating material (ceramic or mica) and a high resistance heater. The heater has a contact type of heating, so it must be completely adjacent to the heated surface.

Elektronagrev manufactures flat metal heaters according to customer drawings, so they can be U-shaped or L-shaped. Mounting holes and perforations can be made on the surface of the heater.

Ceramic flat heaters are made from flat ceramic plates that can withstand temperatures up to 500°C. Ceramic heaters have a metal protective casing. Under the order, it is possible to manufacture a heating element with a built-in thermocouple, with holes and different shapes.

The flat ceramic heater is multifunctional and can be installed on injection molding machines, extruders and other equipment. Rescal resistor wire is used as a heating element in ceramic flat heating elements.
